International Roadcheck: Be Prepared

What Fleet Operators Need to Know Before Inspection Week

The annual CVSA International Roadcheck runs May 12–14, 2026, bringing 72 hours of nonstop inspections for trucks over 10,001 lbs. GVWR and drivers operating commercial vehicles. For fleet operators, it’s a critical time to ensure both equipment and drivers are fully compliant. Inspections during this period can lead to vehicles being placed out of service, causing delays and operational disruptions.

2026 Inspection Focus

This year’s Roadcheck will emphasize:

  • Driver Focus: ELD tampering, falsified logs, and Hours of Service (HOS) violations
  • Vehicle Focus: Cargo securement, including chains, straps, equipment, and vehicles on rollbacks
